Data Storage

Your notes stay on your device. Notee is a local-first application, which means all your notes and workspaces are stored locally on your computer. We do not have access to your notes, and they are never uploaded to our servers.

Notee supports up to 5 workspaces, each storing its own set of notes independently on your device.

Analytics

We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics on our website. This helps us understand how visitors interact with our landing page and improve the user experience. The analytics we collect include:

• Page views
• Download button clicks
• General browser and device information

This data is anonymized and does not include any personal information or content from your notes.

Third-Party Services

Notee uses the BlockNote editor as the foundation for our text editing experience. BlockNote is an open-source block-based rich text editor that runs entirely in your browser.

No Account Required

Notee does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the application. There's no sign-up, no login, and no cloud sync.

Future Changes

While Notee is currently completely free, we may introduce optional paid features in the future. The core functionality will remain free forever. If we introduce features that require data processing (such as cloud sync), we will update this privacy policy accordingly and notify users.
