Agreement to Terms
By downloading or using Notee, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use the application.
Description of Service
Notee is a note-taking application for macOS that allows you to create, edit, and organize notes across up to 5 workspaces. The application stores all data locally on your device.
Notee uses the BlockNote editor, an open-source block-based rich text editor, for the note editing experience.
Free Service
Notee is currently provided free of charge. The core functionality of the application will remain free forever. We may introduce optional paid features or premium tiers in the future, but the basic note-taking functionality you use today will always be available at no cost.
Your Content
You retain full ownership of all notes and content you create using Notee. Since all data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for:
- Backing up your notes
- Maintaining the security of your device
- Any loss of data due to device failure, theft, or accidental deletion
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Notee only for lawful purposes. You may not use the application to store or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Notee is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Notee after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
